Oh boy…

hmmm… its been awhile since i last blogged. well as usual been very busy with all sorts of stuffs ( i wonder when will it end ) :( . anyway, few days ago a friend of mine whos a very loooong lost friend contact me. She is my high school buddy, a real buddy. She went to the US after our graduation and we’ve lost in touch. We had a little chit chat and i am so happy for her coz right now, she is married with errr 3 kids  . And i was shocked when i found out how she met her hubby. She met her better half in World of Warcraft. Yes! the game! i didnt even know that shes a gamer type coz she totally hated our computer subjects way back then. I was so curious on how did they started and she told me that it all started in a casual freakin in-game non sense relationship :D . Then it lead to a long distance relationship and blah blah blah.

At first, i thought long distance relationship doesn’t work at all. It’s like why settle for this kind of relationship when you can have a better one? Do not mistake love for hunger for affection, or loneliness, or even lust. You may think it is love, but it often is not. But yea, when i heard Katie’s story… to me it seems very challenging and difficult but not impossible at all.

Long Distance Relationships share the same facts as an average relationship. It involves two people who share an interest in each other’s lives, care for one another and of course have a love for each other that they hope will only continue to grow. On the other hand, a long distance relationship does have its differences as well. It takes away your ability to see each other on a frequent note, as well as the choice of being intimate whenever you desire, not to mention that there would be major trust required. Being unable to spend time together in a physical presence makes it harder to hang on to, but does not spell out doom for your relationship.

The first step is to make an agreement of what your expectations are in the relationship and how much of a commitment you are willing to give and receive. If the two of you decide to be monogamous, then it is clear that neither of you will be dating anyone else as long as your romantic relationship exists. Being clear about what you both want is extremely important, especially in a long distance relationship, in order to prevent future misunderstandings and mistakes. Do not feel afraid to tell your partner what you really need and want from him or her, you deserve the chance to speak from your heart and he or she deserves to know the truth and judge whether they can give it to you.

Trust is a major necessity if you wish to have your relationship from a distance. Without trust and honesty, the relationship is in for danger and unsuccessfulness, just as it would be any other relationship. By accepting the challenge of a long distance relationship, you also accepted the fact that you will have to have the trust and faith that your partner will not be seeing anyone else as promised. Being paranoid and accusing will only grow doubts, insecurity and tension between you and none of those three will help the relationship survive successfully.

Keeping each other informed of the friendships you have with other people and the events that take place in your personal life is a great way to keep your relationship alive and healthy; and continues to make your partner a part of your life. It is essential that you receive the same information from your partner as well, so you both feel the same security and satisfaction that you both crave.

Yeah, it challenging, difficult and yet its fun? i guess? Impossible? Nah! :P

While Having Fun…

View From Top Oh yeah!!! the food suck!!! BIG TIME!!! To Pleasure Island!!! Ahhh.. heaven... Shopping!!! Retard Time! Retard Time! Part-II Byaheng Langit Part II to Subic Sunog Balat Time!!! It's time to get Nog Nog!!

Yer…i was everywhere with my mother side 1st and 2nd cousins… we had a some sort of a family reunion. It was fun coz its been yearsss since we go out and spend time together. My iloilo experience was not so fun. The weather is extremely hot! and had to walk miles just to go from one house to another. We’re in the city tho but i dont have my car and i am not used to walking under the sunshine @ 12 noon WTF! . Then after that we head back to manila coz my 2nd cousin Ted had to leave for Brussels @ 18 ( what a lucky kid! ). Then… as soon as we arrived @ manila they asked me if we can go to Enchanted Kingdom… i was like ” OK, sure as long as im not driving ” & thank God our driver was available for that day. Riding the Space Shuttle and the stupid freaking Rio Rapids wasn’t really on my plan. But hell yea i did. damn it! I sooo hate Rio Rapids! It was clearly stated on the safety tips that ” try not to rotate the big thing that were sitting on ” oh wtf! my stupid cousins did it and when were at the middle of the ride… there was a small falls thingy and guess what?! i was under it and poured right on me and my cousin Jim and we were both soaking wet after that stupid ride. It takes hours for me to fix my hair and sheeez… and Mix said ” hey lets raid space shuttle so your clothes will be slightly dried ( at least ) ” i was so stupid enough to say yes… and yea it was fun but while on top of it… i remembered the incident few months back that someone actually died riding space shuttle coz the seat fell apart. While on the loop i was shouting on the top of my lungs coz im freaking out!!! Geezuz Christ! But yea it was fun. Then… after 3 days… we went to Subic Bay without anything. Meaning… no food no utensils no shampoo not even extra clothes. We had to drop by @ Royal Subic Mall to buy what we need.

And to all Lacoste freaks! buy lacoste @ Subic Royal Mall! Shirts there are wayyyy tooo cheap compared to manila coz they dont charge Tax! I bought my dad the latest Lacoste polo shirt and its only -P-3,580.00! Normally, here in Manila… it cost -P-4,800ish.00 and their wallets cost only -P2,700.00! i bought 1 :) And… before these happened… i was with my mom in Guam! just a quick stop. Business thing. So, can you imagine how broke i am?! 8O

Ok… while i was having sooo much… too much fun i wasn’t aware what has been happening. Ces Drilon was kidnapped! an ABS-CBN veteran broadcast journalist who has been at the center of many an unfolding news story, often under perilous circumstances. Bryant scores 53, but Lakers lose 114-111 to last-place Grizzlies. MegaLotto 6/45 is currently Php 101,787,478.20 with 0 Winners. P65/liter gasoline price looms! ( WTF! ) MANILA, Philippines—Consumers will have to deal with weekly fuel price increases of P1.50 a liter that started on Saturday, as oil firms scramble to recover losses resulting from skyrocketing crude prices in the world market. Allowing the oil firms to recoup their losses could drive the price of gasoline to a record P65 a liter. Does this mean we have to start riding bicycles?

:( *sigh* :( i guess i need to slow down a bit. anyway, Happy Fathers Day to all the dad’s out there! :P

My Cebu experience was fabulous! the beach is soooo breath taking. Can’t wait to go back :( . We arrived there at 9:30ish in the morning. We are all sooo excited to feel the sand. So, as soon as we arrived there… had our early lunch. FYI : Plantation Bay Cebu’s food is not so good and the price is kinda not reasonable for it. Anyway, as soon as we finished our lunch we rushed to the beach side to check the place out. Gosh!!! one of the best beach i’ve ever been. Not too many people, crystal clear water, well maintained surroundings & best of all there’s a Hawaiian Luau few steps from the beach.

Sad… after our first day we didnt have had the chance to take more photos. Why? ” SOMEONE ” left ALL the charger. We placed all of our chargers in 1 small bag for us to carry around. In it we have 2 types of Nokia phone charger, Sony CyberShot charger & Cannon digicam charger. We parked our cars at Park & Fly near NAIA and used their van to take us to the domestic airport and guess what?! the small bag was kicked under the chair!!! Oh well, at least we had some. Next stop… Camiguin!!!

Thanks for droppin’ by and dont forget to drop me a line. :P

EDIT : change of plans… Next Stop… Iloilo! :D

New Theme & The Manila Ocean Park.

OMG!!! thank god i finished it on time. Anyway, hope you can gimme some feedback. As what I’ve always said… ” Comments & Violent Reactions will be Appreciated ” :P .

We visited the Manila Ocean Park ( out of curiosity ) and it was a TOTAL CRAP! well not worth it for your 400 Php… Me and my friends arrived there at around 3:00pm. At the gate… theres a sign posted ” 2 Hours ” . The minute we saw it we asked each other… WTF is 2 Hours? we only allowed to stay 2 hours? who the fuck stays 2 hours in a room full of aquariums anyway? So… since we didnt know what was it… we proceed.

Geeezuz Christ! right after the guards few steps ahead of us… BOOM! we see like more than what… 600 people?! I was like… OMG!!! So Ok, since we’re already there… told em’ ok lets buy our tickets. Then thats the time we realized what the ” 2 hours ” mean. It means minimum wait time before you can buy your ticket. LOL! Gosh! were not on Six Flags or Disneyland’s Nemo Sub Ride!

After 2 hours and 15 mins we are able to go inside and guess what?! sorry but i really have to express this in our own language… Sobrang baho! amoy kili kili, amoy putok! amoy anghit! sa sobrang dami ng tao! para kang hihimatayin sa loob! Promise! and heres the evidence.

Now, tell me how the hell will you fu*k*n enjoy what you paid fort? plus not to mention that it is still under renovation… and we had to walk our way out through the fire exit! I really recommend going to Ocean Adventure in Subic instead of wasting your time and money at the Manila Ocean Park. It’s much worth it coz they have a show and everything. Plus! you will be able to enjoy the scenery and the ambiance.

And oh! i saw their clinic Good Lord! parang matutuluyan ka dun just in case something happened. The clinic doesnt have its own room. i took a peak and no ones there and what else… hmmm no bed? just a monoblock chair. Pero in fairness… all fishes are well kept and the tanks are clean! i even saw a guy cleaning the shark tank that day  Ok sana e, kaso they should limit the sa capcity or the number of people who enters the oceanarium. What if ( God Forbid ) something happend nga. Like earthquake, fire, or one tank leaked. All people will panic and that could result into a stampede. A lot of people can get hurt or worst die. Plus 30% of the visitors are kids! I even saw an 8 month old baby! wut the hell?! Instead of ma-relax ka… while watching the fishes… ma stress ka sa dami ng tao at sa amoy! tapos there are signs everywhere na ” Please Turn Off Your Camera’s Flash etc etc balah blah blah ” still! there are some people who still does it and i dunno kung bobo ba sila d marunong mag basa… or bulag ba or what. camera flash can cause eye stress to the fishes ( according to them )…

Oh well, maybe because it’s still ” under renovation “. And they also goin to build a hotel and a mall. Wut the hell is it with the malls here in our country? They’re all expanding… they’re always flocked with people doing what? nothing… lol! plus the Mall of Asia is just a few kms away from the Manila Ocean Park. Sad…. let’s see in the future what will be the venue’s outcome.

Im off to Cebu on Friday. Ha! I think im having too much vacation… and NO! im not gonna check out Vicente Memorial Hostpital hahaha  ima visit some friends, relatives & beaches!!! Thanks for reading guys. Don’t forget to drop me a line.
